For a couple of years now, I wanted to downsize my living space so in Oct 2025 I located a condo I wanted to purchase. I put my place up for sale to start the home buying/selling process. Long story short, that condo purchase did not work out so I pulled out of the deal and told myself I would wait until early the next year to try again. During the latter part of February of this year, I started to visit condos in the area for possible purchase. I went through Rocket for approval prior to me reaching out to a Redfin agent and asked Rocket to match me with an Agent which is how I connected with Jamie Smart. Because the sale was moving quickly, I decided to move into an apartment for the time being and would continue my condo search sometime mid next year. It's our first time to buy a house, Jamie was very patient explaining the whole process for us during our first meeting (took the whole afternoon answering all my questions). She's very knowledgeable on how to evaluate a house, appreciated our opinion, and didn't push us to place high-price offer. She needed to do a surgery when we were on the process of closing, and she had Agne, another very professional agent to help us through the process very smoothly. We were able to get ratified for our first offer placed and got a good deal with seller credit much higher than we expected. Very satisfied with the deal and the handyman she recommended for fixing things before moving in is awesome!
