Concerns Regarding Jim Reed’s Representation as Buyer’s Agent During our recent condo purchase in Chestnut Hill, MA, we found key aspects of Jim Reed’s representation lacking—particularly regarding a balcony door latch that posed clear safety and security risks. Prior to closing, we explicitly requested that the seller repair the faulty latch. Jim advised that the condo association would handle it, and we relied on this assurance in moving forward. However, after closing, our outreach to both the condo association and building superintendent yielded no action. The door remained unsecured, ultimately requiring us to cover the cost of repairs.
