John did a great job with keeping us informed throughout the process and ensuring we stayed on task to meet the closing date. We live 200 miles from the property and John went above and beyond to limit our trips there. This was a smooth and solid transaction from day one.
I live out of state, so, this would be tough to do, lest somebody I know in Ventura would come to me directly regarding RedFin. There was a few small struggles in defining processes and terminology, that I believe should have freely flowed from John, yet we worked through it together. He was very responsive on correspondence and getting back to me, and, especially providing ideas and sugggestions outside the normal thought process, which were stimulated by both of us. Case scenarios were thrown on the table, to provide a pro-active thought process. He accepted my plan on staying steady on offers, he took the bio-metrics of the property site, location, architecture, and proximity to goods and services. Very pleasant to talk to.

I very much enjoyed working with John Burdick and found him to be very supportive and knowledgeable. In particular, I felt that he was looking out for my interests on several occasions when there were issues with a property. In one case, he shared his concern that the seller and selling realtor were not being up front with potential water damage problems that only partially showed up in the inspection report. I found him to be more interested in having me be a satisfied and long term customer than just closing the deal ASAP.

There aren't enough good things to say about John. We became friends through our process. It took several months and several trips to determine our right home - John took us through so many options, in person and virtually, and was never anything but supportive and excited for us to find the right thing. Our story took a bad turn at a crucial point in the transaction, and John worked overtime to get us a solution, executed it brilliantly, saved this home for us. We wouldn't and couldn't be here without him.
