Buying a home is stressful. Buying a home in a state you’ve never lived in, after moving from Denver, while having absolutely no idea what you want? That’s a different category of stressful entirely. Juliana Montalvo handled all of it without breaking a sweat — and more importantly, without making us feel like the clueless out-of-towners that we absolutely were. We came to her with a wishlist that amounted to “something good, somewhere nice,” and she somehow turned that into an actual direction. That direction led us to a new construction home in a neighborhood we genuinely love. Not bad for people who couldn’t have pointed to half these New Jersey towns on a map six months earlier. What made the difference was that Juliana actually listened. She didn’t steer us toward what was easy or convenient — she paid attention, asked the right questions, and course-corrected when we needed it. She was patient when we were indecisive (often), and prepared when we needed answers (always). For two people who were new to the area and new to the buying process, having someone in our corner who knew both was invaluable. If you’re looking for an agent who will take your search seriously and treat you like a priority, Juliana is the one. Highly recommend.
