We regret using Julie to purchase the home. We did not feel as if she had the buyers best interest throughout the process. We had to continuously remind her of the important time frame. We raised concerns about the closing time frame at the beginning and she brushed that off - but then the sellers couldn't meet the time frame so we needed an addendum to extend the close date. It was critical that the move in date was not pushed past May 30, but that wasn't included in the addendum and we had to remind her again of the this. It was disappointing after the discussions surrounding the move-in date that we had to remind her. She seemed nonchalant about it and kept saying "they will probably be out before then". Until we made it clear we would walk away from the deal unless the move in date was May 30th NOT 30 days after closing did she go back to amend the addendum. It seemed she wanted to let the sellers agent dictate terms instead of supporting the buyers needs. The week of key exchange she then said she would "push for as early as noon" exchange with the sellers agent. We had to remind her the purchase agreement dictated a key exchange by noon on May 30th - so they are contractually required to be out otherwise they would be paying rent per day as dictated in the PA. In the end the sellers left the house in shambles on key exchange day - the house was filthy and alot of stuff was left behind for the sellers to deal with. We discussed potential solutions on compensation but those went nowhere other than retention of a small escrow deposit. I've purchased several homes in my life and have never worked with someone who cared less about the buyers. Others I know who have encountered issues less significant upon move-in had their realtors jump in and help - providing cleaning services or junk removal - Julie couldn't have left quicker and we heard from her a few days later with an apology about the house's condition, but that was it. There was zero support at any point during the process - and I felt like the entire time I was talking to the someone who was supporting the sellers. I would never recommend Julie to anyone I know. It was a terrible experience.
