We bought our house using Melanie Smoke Solmes from Knightsbridge as our agent. There’s too many problems to list. I am just glad that she didn’t end up losing the house because of her. One example out of at least seven “Major” screwups: She just sent us the water report after two weeks of living here and if we had drunken the water, we would both be in the hospital or dead right now. She is very unprofessional and unprepared for the job. Do not use her.

Creo que no nos oriento muy bien en la Venta de nuestra casa ademas nos dijo que la fecha de cierre seria ya y que si podriamos dejar meter cosas a los nuevos dueños una fecha la cual ocurrio 2 dias despues,nunca hubo mucha publicidad para tratar de vender,nos habia dicho que como seria venta y compra nos bajaria un poco su comicion lo cual no ocurrio.

Alex is the real deal. He is kind, knowledgeable, trust-worthy, and honest. He stuck with us through the pandemic, as house after house was being given cash offers for 100-200K over the asking price. I was discouraged but he continued to look at homes and to believe it was possible for us. I am a solo parent and while others gave us impossibilities, Alex believed in the process and saw only what was possible. He knew we had to find our right fit and waited and was discerning and knowledgeable about the process. As a first-time home buyer, this was invaluable, both his trust it would come through for us, the tenacity, and the willingness to help even beyond the sale, when I had questions about taxes as a first-time buyer in the spring after the sale. It is apparent he does this due to a deep love for the work. He is very committed to his family, too, which allowed him to see possibilities for my family. He wanted the best for us. It is a gift to find a realtor like Alex. He broke down the process, made it simple and understandable, was professional and friendly. I recommend him highly. We need folks like Alex. He really listened. He delivered. We couldn't be more happy with our home and the security it lets us lean into. Thank you, Alex! It has made a big difference for my family, to be able to buy and afford a home we love here in Bend. You were there every step of the way and even recommended mortgage lenders and others who became an important part of the buying process, such as who you would recommend to the do the home inspection. It allowed us to feel peace of mind in the process and to move forward. We will go with you again when the time comes to look for another home. We recommend you often, as someone who can make this process manageable and do-able for others, too!
