I worked with Melissa for 2+ years to sell my condo in Baltimore. It was a long and tedious process that involved turning it into a rental for about a year before we re-listed the condo during the summer and sold it this fall. We figured we wouldn't be able to find the perfect house quickly, so we'd have to rent for a year while we looked. But with Melissa's help, we ended up with the perfect home in no time. Melissa, ever patient, showed us the full range of homes, from 1930s to new construction, townhouses to single-family homes. She helped us to realize what was really valuable to us in a home, and aligned our cost expectations for those things in this area. She also helped us to see beyond the staging (or lack thereof) to imagine what's possible in the space, and told us how much it would likely cost to make it the way we liked. She took us from clueless to savvy. We found the ideal home, and Melissa negotiated on our behalf (with our full involvement) and enabled us to ultimately save 6% off the asking price! We're extremely happy with our new home, and with her services!

Melissa is wonderful to work with! My husband and I moved to Maryland from out of state, and Melissa made sure we got a house we loved in a great location. The first thing I want to say is that Melissa is patient and listens to you. My husband and I weren’t entirely sure what we wanted in a house, so we looked at dozens of them. Melissa listened to our comments and used them to guide us to houses and neighborhoods she thought we’d like. She also gave us a lot of suggestions to think over, since we were first-time homebuyers. Second, Melissa was available whenever we had questions, even when she was traveling. She has a lot of knowledge to share and provided great recommendations for services too, such as a home inspector. Third, Melissa is a fantastic negotiator. My husband and I made offers on two houses (at the last minute we changed our minds on the first house when we discovered the second) and she substantially negotiated down the price of each. We were very impressed. Lastly, Melissa knows the process well, so she can explain any and every part of it to you, which I really appreciated as a first-time homebuyer. As a bonus, she is a successful house flipper, so she can give you a rough idea how difficult or expensive it might be to make changes to a house you are considering. I really enjoyed working with Melissa and highly recommend her. She took a long and complicated process and made it as simple and easy as possible.

Melissa helped my family and I learn the market and the process, educating us at each step of the way. She was exceptionally responsive :whether she was in the area or on the other side of the world (seriously, she responded rapidly to emails even when she was on vacation in Spain and Morocco). She did great work!
