Midnight Meadow is a bright and airy, fully furnished, recently renovated home in the heart of The Catskills. Located 2 hours from NYC, the hamlet of Callicoon is perfect for that artist’s retreat, or a family looking to escape the city for the winter, or just to explore Upstate New York. Set on 6+ private acres with meadow views, the house has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths–perfect for a family or a group of friends. Amenities include a fireplace, fire pit, mini split units in each bedroom, large smart TV in living room, fully equipped kitchen, large back deck (with a grill!) overlooking the meadow, and access to the best hiking and dining in the region. The lively town of Callicoon is less than 5 minutes away. The primary bedroom is expansive and boasts a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. A pair of french doors allow private access out to the deck. The other bedrooms are spacious and well-designed, two with Queen-sized beds and the other with a full-sized bed. The minimalist, Scandi-Esque decor gives the comfort and peacefulness you would anticipate in an Upstate home. There is a brand new washer/dryer located in the basement. All utilities and wifi included in monthly rent. Ideally, we're looking for someone to take over the home for a 5 month period, from January to mid June. However, we're open to other time frames, both shorter and longer. All utilities included in flat rent - wifi, electric, propane, oil, water, gardening, trash. Trash pickup is on Mondays. Groundskeeper plows snow and mows the lawn. Property is treated for ticks during the spring and summer months. Rent will be collected in advance by the 25th of each month. A security deposit will be held until tenant moves out and will be returned in full, less a cleaning fee, as long as no damage occurred on the property.
