Pristine location in Jericho Valley perched on over 10 acres. This beautifully maintained 3 BR 2.5 Bath cedar colonial was built by Ferman Lex. You will definitely be smiling as you pull up to this magnificent property. Warm and cozy describes this home best. From the time you step through the door you feel a sense of "Home". Polished hardwood floors throughout. Huge sun-drenched kitchen with ceramic tile floor, breakfast area, granite countertops, office area, island and beautifully crafted cabinets. Rustic family room with a huge stone propane fireplace and custom wooden bookshelves. Large master bedroom featuring a big walk-in closet and updated full bath. Just stop for a brief moment and gaze out the window of the upstairs study while you take in the view. Now, picture yourself walking the backyard to the small stream that runs through your property. Cross the footbridge over to the other side of your grounds and gaze back at the house. It's beautiful! Huge stone patio overlooks the backyard that's home to an abundance of Purple Martins. These birds fly up from Brazil every year to the birdhouses you see out back. Owners have taken great care of this home and the land and it shows. Right down the road from Washington Crossing State Park. A short 5 minute drive to Main Street in Historic New Hope Boro. Offering plenty of restaurants and shopping. For all you history buffs, the property was part of the encampment site for the artillery unit of approximately 600 men under the command of General Henry Knox and Captain Alexander Hamilton. A road led across the back of the property where cannons were placed. The encampment was from December 8, 1776 to December 25, 1776 at which time the troops left and crossed the Delaware River under the command of General Washington on Christmas night 1776 to defeat the Hessians at the Battle of Trenton. Be sure to take a look at the last picture. .. .that's a photo from the top of Bowman's Hill Tower to 1360 Eagle Rd. Amazing!
