Welcome to 1055 Little Road, a gorgeous property located in the heart of Upper Makefield. Surrounded by nature in all directions, this beautiful home creates a world of its own on over 5 private and historic acres, where Washington s army stayed in 1776 before famously crossing the Delaware. The spectacular grounds impress with incredible outdoor amenities, featuring a bluestone patio with a hot tub, which leads to the in-ground saltwater pool. A magnificent pool pavilion makes the space perfect for entertaining, equipped with a full kitchen, a bar with plenty of seating, air conditioning, and a retractable awning. Sit with family and friends on the maintenance free deck which has stairs leading down to the patio and pool or enjoy a brief walk through the yard to the gazebo that overlooks the property and creek. Nestled among trees and nature, there is no shortage of open space for either hosting guests or relaxing in a private setting. This expansive property also offers a 1 bedroom guest apartment, complete with a kitchen, sitting area, and access to a deck, along with 3 car detached parking. Just as detailed and full of impressive features on the inside, this home is not a typical 5 bed, 4.5 bath farmhouse, which is evident through its modern and spacious additions. Step right into the incredible mudroom, highlighting a 2 story brick wall as a backdrop that accentuates the space, intricate woodworking, and cable railings, which leads to the kitchen. Truly the heart of the home, this gourmet space unites the original farmhouse with the additions built on over time. This bright and spacious kitchen boasts a 6 burner Wolf range, double wall ovens, stainless steel appliances, quartzite counters, a center island with additional seating area, a cozy sitting area with deep-sill windows overlooking the property, and hardwood floors that continue throughout the entire main level of the home. The kitchen opens on either end to the living room with exposed wood beams, built-in bookshelves, and a wood burning fireplace, and to the dining room which features a butler s area with a custom cork backsplash, a wall of windows that let in natural light, and a door that opens to the patio. Step up into the gathering room, with an impressive wood burning stone fireplace and exposed wood beams, doors that open to the deck, skylights, and a wall of windows that frames the gorgeous outdoor oasis. Tucked back as its own separate retreat, the 1st floor master suite is complete with a large transom window overlooking the picturesque grounds, its own access to the deck, an expansive walk-in closet that offers further flex space, and a Calcutta marble master bath with dual vanities, a shower, and a dressing area. The finished walk-out lower level offers a billiards room with a detailed tin ceiling, flex space, 2 bedrooms, and 2 full baths. Additional amenities include fantastic storage, custom track lighting, recessed lighting, and built-in Bose speakers. All this in Council Rock schools with a location close to I-95 that is perfect for commuting. Stunning and move-in ready, this spectacular property will not disappoint!
