A Hidden Gem…accessed through a private gravel lane under a canopy of trees, this enchanting 1947 Robert Hunt residence—designed by noted architect Charles Abbe—offers a front-row seat to nature on a lush, private half-acre lot filled with mature landscaping and majestic trees. This skillfully designed farmhouse-style home blends timeless design with thoughtful updates. The original structure features smooth stucco over block, with later additions including horizontal clapboard siding, a spacious family room, and a modern side-entry 2-car garage. Step inside to a gorgeous living room with windows on three sides, a stunning mantled fireplace, custom built-ins, high baseboards, and beautiful hardwood floors. The formal dining room and welcoming foyer also feature real hardwoods and classic millwork. The adjacent kitchen blends vintage charm with modern touches—period-style cabinetry, granite countertops, a Mercer tile backsplash, and a pantry offering abundant storage with double windows over sink offering serene backyard views. The expansive family room impresses with a handcrafted timber wall accented by vintage pegs and unique glass panels, an exposed beam ceiling, and front-to-back windows with sliding glass doors opening to a rear deck—perfect for entertaining. A mudroom with Mercer tile flooring connects to the full bath/aundry room and garage. The walk up level of the garage offers tremendous storage or potential expansion. Upstairs, a lovely turned wood staircase leads to three bright and charming bedrooms, each with gleaming hardwood floors, solid paneled doors and overhead lighting. The full bath features ceramic tile flooring, built-in shelving, and tiled walls. Outdoors, enjoy a fire pit in the serene backyard surrounded by towering trees and natural beauty. Located in the highly sought-after Council Rock North School District, and just minutes from the shops and dining in the Village of Newtown, with easy access to major highways—this is truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity.
