The community is 5 miles from Front Royal, Strasburg and Elizabeth Furnace. 8 miles from Skyline Drive entrance. Within 5 miles are parking areas for Buzzard Rock, Signal Knob and Elizabeth Furnace which has pavilions and big fields. Passage Creek with many pull off spots and water holes, also known for Trout fishing. Head to Front Royal for restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Strasburg is known for antique shopping and has a great fireworks display.
