While Britney Spears has been working it out in Las Vegas for sold-out crowds, she’s also been working behind the scenes to sell a piece of her of history. A $7.0 million dollar piece. The pop princess’s Thousand Oaks’s home sold on Feb. 22 for a cool $7.0 million. That’s a nice chunk of change for the diva, who recently extended her Vegas tour through December 2017. Spears has already found a new Thousand Oaks address to call home, which could be the reason for the big move. Looks like 2017 is shaping up to be a good year for her (not to mention the Lifetime biopic)!
The Spanish-style, 8,456-square-foot estate boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Britney’s designer digs include instagram-worthy views of the Santa Monica Mountains and an outdoor oasis, that includes a pool and a jacuzzi that engulfs you in the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
Britney’s former home was also designed with kids in mind. With two sons of her own, there’s plenty of kid-friendly entertainment including a game and movie room (that most adults would envy).
The exquisite estate has an effortless flow throughout, making each room feel airy and light. “There is nothing ‘Toxic’ about this lavish property,” says Redfin Agent Alec Traub. “The house is designed with tranquility in mind, from the calming garden to the master bedroom, it’s designed as a modern retreat.”
