Fashion designer Max Azria is selling his mega mansion in Los Angeles for $85 million, making it the third most expensive piece of real estate currently on the market in the area.
According to property records, Azria purchased the home back in 2005 for nearly $14.5 million and has since poured a lot of money into renovations. It’s clear that he spared no expense on this opulent mansion. The home is a fantastic mix of classic architecture and contemporary design, great for anyone who fancies modern living. The estate perfectly blends indoor and outdoor living with views of the property from nearly every room.
The enormous 30,000-square-foot Holmby Hills home was designed by the legendary architect Paul Williams in the 1930s. Not only does it have 17 bedrooms and 22 bathrooms, the mansion has almost every amenity you could dream of. The list of impressive features includes a full gym, greenhouse, home theater, tennis court and an outdoor pool. The property sits on three acres and is surrounded by five beautiful gardens.
We imagine that Azria, the founder of the BCBG Max Azria Group, had some home décor help from his wife Lubov Azria, who is also the company’s chief creative officer. The home décor is funky chic with a modern twist. While the home has a grand total of 60 rooms, each room still seems to have an intimate feel, perfect for entertaining any number of guests.
