Remi is GREAT to work with. We are first time home buyers so we needed a little hand-holding. We were operating within a pretty tight window to find and close on a home. He got us in to see a number of different homes quickly and efficiently. His attention to detail when touring the homes were very insightful. Also, he was very helpful in getting our offer accepted and helping us close during a red hot housing market. On closing day, we ran into a couple of roadblocks getting financing complete and he stayed with us the whole day calling stakeholders for updates to help push the process forward. Remi is a great partner to work with.

I will start by saying Akinremi is a nice guy. He is patient and he was fine during the process of finding the house. Where he and Redfin displayed major flaws was lack of knowledge, completing the leg work of researching unfamiliar nuances of the transaction and he along with Redfin seemed intimidated by the agressive sales agent to the point they were going to allow the seller to forego signing necessary documents and my wife and I had to get a personal lawyer involved the day of the closing. To make closing even more stressful, when Remi was told by my wife that it's his job to protect the buyers and by not getting the sellers to sign the papers, we didn't feel protected; Remi responded by quitting the day of closing. I initially met with Remi for a cup of coffee and a "consultation" on how to buy a house, once the time came for me. At that time, I had no immediate plans to buy a home. Whenever I had a question about the process - and I had MANY - he was always available, knowledgeable and generally pleasant to talk to. When I found a house I was interested in, he jumped into action, got an offer in, negotiated a *great* deal with the seller, recommended the BEST inspector (who saved me thousands by finding a hidden problem), and stayed present and involved every step of the way - all the way to the closing table. I couldn't ask for anything more! Will defintely recommend to anyone interested in buying a home in the DMV area. Thank you, Remi!
