Most of us do our small part to help Mother Earth. Recycle. Drive a low-emission car. But what if your whole house could reduce your carbon footprint?
That’s the aim of Bainbridge Island’s Grow Community, the largest solar-powered community in Washington state. Developed by Asani and listed by Redfin, the community’s second phase of homes are now for sale. The Grove is a cluster of beautifully designed homes set around a quiet woodland. The community is already generating excitement, with 27 percent of homes reserved during the grand opening last weekend.
When complete, the neighborhood will have 49 residential units, including town homes, single-family homes and three condo buildings. Each condo will have a generous, open layout with elevator access and no interior stairs. Pre-sale opportunities are now available with prices starting at $525,000 for a condo, $495,000 for a town home and $695,000 for a single-family house. You can view individual prices, floor plans and more at Redfin.com or via Redfin mobile apps on iOS and Android.
The Grove at Grow Community was designed by Cutler Anderson Architects, a world-renowned, award-winning Bainbridge Island firm known for sustainable design. The Grow development is one of nine in the world to be endorsed by One Planet Communities, a global program that promotes sustainable living.
Nestled in the bustling village center, the community is moments from Bainbridge restaurants, shops and museums. A little farther out are the island’s beaches, lush forests and local farms and wineries.
If you would like to explore whether Grow Community is for you, reach out to our sales team at live@growbainbridge.com. The sales office is now open at 180 Olympic Drive SE on Bainbridge Island, just two minutes from the ferry.
Note: An earlier version of this blog post incorrectly stated the percentage of pre-sale homes at the Grove. The correct percentage is 27 percent.
