Planned Development Zone
The purpose of the PD zone is to allow for high quality development that deviates from standards and regulations applicable to other zones within the county. The PD zone is intended to promote creativity in building design, flexibility in permitted land uses, and innovation in development concepts. The PD zone is also intended to ensure project consistency with the General Plan, sensitivity to surrounding land uses, and the protection of sensitive natural resources.
