Dec 11, 2008"I used Redfin for the purchase of a home recently and would recommend their services to anyone interested in buying or selling a home. Their website allows you to conduct a very efficient search for homes that might be of interest. I was a little apprehensive about using Redfin to represent me in the home buying process. I thought that since they refund a portion of the commission; the service would reflect a "discount" mentality. My concerns were unfounded. Redfin's service and responsiveness were both first rate. My agent, Cheryl McLaine, is very knowledgeable and a skilled negotiator. She worked hard to complete a fairly complicated transaction with a minimum amount of effort on my part.
